John Tyler (Ty) Rickard received the B.A. degree in business finance from Abilene Christian University in 2011.

From 2012 to 2015, Ty was a data and algorithm engineer with Discovery Investing Scoreboard, a company that applied computing with words to the subjective evaluations of junior mining companies. In 2015, he was an IT specialist and data scientist with Till Capital. During this time, he shifted his focus to financial markets, trading extensively in futures instruments as well as designing and maintaining automated trading systems using fuzzy systems theory.

Ty now works as operations director for Adventure Learning Center, where he applies his financial and systems background to help the company grow.
