Katie Conner, MS, RBT

Therapeutic Supervisor and BCBA Candidate

Katie is a Colorado Springs native. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a teacher. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2021. She has her Education degree in K-6 general
education, and endorsements in Special Education (K-21yo) and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (K-21yo). While receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she started working the field of ABA as a respite care provider, and eventually earned her certification as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT).

During her student teaching, Katie excelled in classroom management and was often approached by veteran teachers for support on different management techniques. This made her realize her passion was supporting others in managing behaviors
inside and outside of the classroom. In March of 2024, Katie received her Masters in Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global University.

Katie started the school readiness program for the children at Adventure Learning Center to help get them acclimated to a school setting before they transition into a typical school setting. Her goal as a Behavior Analyst is to provide support not only to the children she serves, but to parents, caregivers, and educators. While not at work, Katie enjoys trying out new restaurants around Colorado, attending sporting events, traveling to new and familiar places, and spending time with her dogs Ella Mae and Kobe Steve.
