Melissa Fornara is a dedicated speech-language pathologist from Castle Rock, Colorado, with a strong commitment to enhancing communication skills in children. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from California Baptist University and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado.
Melissa’s professional passion lies in working with children struggling with dyslexia and reading comprehension, as well as those with severe speech-sound disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is formally trained in Orton-Gillingham’s multisensory structured literacy program, the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scales (ADOS-2), Safety Care, and Colorado Early Intervention.
In her personal life, Melissa enjoys playing with her yellow lab, Love, and spending quality time with her five nephews and nieces. Her mission as a speech-language pathologist is to provide compassionate and evidence-based therapy, empowering individuals to communicate effectively and confidently. Through personalized care and ongoing collaboration, she strives to enhance her clients’ quality of life and foster meaningful connections with others.
